Visiting Angels - Reading, PA is seeking a Part Time Home Health Aide (HHA) to serve clients across the Reading area, including Shillington, Wyomissing and nearby towns. You will deliver compassionate in-home care under personalized plans, with flexible schedules and opportunities for training and growth.

Pay ranges $14.00–$15.00 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits. Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and transport support.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience caring for seniors or disabled adults.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes when scheduled.
• Comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and desire to brighten the day of each client.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and supportive care.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
