Job summary

Headliner Music Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Music Teacher to lead classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and young children in Rocklin, CA. The role focuses on warmth, creativity, and keeping students engaged through singing, movement, rhythm, and games.

The ideal candidate brings energy, patience, and the ability to convey basic musical concepts in a fun, accessible way while working within a supportive, arts-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Background in the arts (theater, art, music, etc...) and/or experience working with young children in an educational, musical, performing arts, childcare, or similar environment.
• Comfortable leading and engaging groups of young children.
• Energetic, expressive, patient, and encouraging personality.
• Ability to communicate musical concepts in a fun, simple, and developmentally appropriate way.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging early childhood music classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and young children.
• Prepare for and deliver classes using Headliner Music Academy's curriculum, lesson plans, and activities.
• Introduce foundational music concepts through singing, rhythm, movement, instruments, games, and creative activities.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where children feel comfortable participating and exploring.
• Encourage participation and build children's confidence through positive reinforcement.
• Communicate warmly and professionally with parents and caregivers.
• Guide parents and caregivers in participating in classes when applicable.
• Participate in academy events and performances as needed.
