Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Cassville, Mount Union, and surrounding areas. DSPs provide one-on-one care in home and community settings, acting as companions and mentors to help clients reach their full potential.

Roles are part-time, with the possibility of more hours and potential full-time availability.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities/special needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
