Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Special Needs Caregivers / DSPs to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Berks County, PA. In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one care in home and community settings, acting as mentor and companion to help clients build life skills and independence.

The position offers part-time schedules, weekly pay, mileage reimbursement options, and benefits such as health insurance, training, and PTO.

Qualifications

• One year experience supporting with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to provide transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Provide clients with transportation on errands, appointments and community outings
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
