BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to join the team in Altoona, Houtzdale and surrounding areas. DSPs work one-on-one in home/community settings as companions and mentors for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

Part-time roles with the possibility of additional hours, typically Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, with competitive pay starting at $17+/hour, depending on experience.

Competenze

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older

Mansioni

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s hobbies and activities
• Assist with meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
