Job summary

RISE Services Inc. is hiring Parent(s) as Paid Caregiver Direct Support Professionals in our HBCS program to provide direct support to people and families, including in their own homes.

The role requires CPR/First Aid training and background checks, with flexible, limited travel and a compassionate, family-focused approach. Part-time positions offer competitive hourly rates and opportunities to contribute to meaningful outcomes under state program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in field of developmental disabilities or related field preferred.
• Desire and interest in working with people with disabilities.
• Verbal and written communication skills adequate to the job.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must meet driver age if operating a RISe vehicle.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance required.
• Language abilities other than English may be required.
• Reliable transportation to work site.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to people through the RISE mission, vision and values.
• Demonstrate respect and promote choice for clients.
• Promote rights of clients and ensure an environment free of abuse, neglect or exploitation.
• Assist with daily living, hygiene, meal planning/preparation, mobility and community access.
• Support people in transportation and coordination of services.
• Follow medical protocols and supervised plans for health needs.
