Job summary

ProCare Therapy in California is seeking a Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for the upcoming school year on a part-time contract. You will support a caseload of 7-8 students with IEPs, including three weekly 60-minute sessions and others on a monthly plan, delivering individualized instruction and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Active California DHH Teaching License.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for DHH students preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and school teams.
• Ability to adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Dedication to empowering students to achieve academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and support per IEPs.
• Monitor progress and update educational plans as needed.
• Collaborate with general educators, SLPs, and support staff.
• Document student meetings, progress, and reports accurately and timely.
• Partner with families to ensure cohesive educational approaches.
