Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to work with patients in the comfort of their own homes. Flexible part-time and PRN schedules available, with potential to advance to full-time in La Junta, Ordway, Las Animas, and Lamar.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant/Home Health Aide training and evaluation program as required by state/federal regulations.
• Completion of Maxim’s Clinical Competency Program for home health aides with an 80%+ score.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care activities such as showering, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and use of transfer devices as applicable.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and simple procedures as ordered.
