Job summary

Visiting Angels York seeks caring caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support to clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, and Wrightsville, PA. This is a part-time role with hours that can extend to full-time based on needs.

We offer a $500 new hire bonus, flexible scheduling (days, evenings, or nights), weekend wage premiums, 401K with company match, and various supplemental health care plans. Travel may be required in some cases.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks.
• Perform transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed.
• Monitor the client to ensure safety and comfort during the night.
• Provide all other non-medical assistance as assigned.
