Job summary

Boundless Care Inc. in Alameda County seeks warm, dependable babysitters/child caregivers to support families in the area. This is a part-time, flexible position with opportunities based on family needs and your availability.

As a Babysitter / Child Caregiver, you may care for newborns to school-age children, following family routines, providing safe care in the home, preparing meals, and engaging children with age-appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Experience caring for children (babysitting, nannying, daycare, etc).
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid SSN.
• TrustLine registration or willingness to complete registration.
• Valid TB test or willingness to obtain one.
• Reliable transportation or dependable access to transportation.
• Flexible or open availability; assignments based on family requests.
• Bilingual or multilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care in the family’s home.
• Supervise children and ensure safety throughout the care session.
• Infant care, including bottle-feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and nap supervision.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as reading, sensory play, crafts, games, and educational activities.
• Follow parents’ instructions, household routines, nap schedules, and care preferences.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks and assist with feeding as needed.
• Help maintain a clean and organized play or care area.
• Light tidying related to the children and activities completed during the shift.
• Communicate with parents regarding the child’s activities, meals, naps, behavior, or other observations.
• Provide additional support for children with special needs when appropriate and within your experience level.
