Job summary

Allied Universal offers a part-time, flexible Security Officer – Flexible – Access Control position at Luckey, OH. You will perform site-specific access-control procedures, monitor entry and exit points, verify identifications, and respond to incidents while maintaining logs.

Fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform help you earn more. This role provides income stability with a base pay of $17.50 per hour and the opportunity to scale hours

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns and critical situations calmly and communicate with site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, building areas and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
