Job summary

Nutrition that Works, LLC in Oxford, MS is seeking a consultant dietitian to provide nutrition care in a long-term care setting, 8-24 hours per week onsite during normal business hours. The role is a 1099 contract with commensurate pay for experienced RD professionals.

Qualifications include active Mississippi licensure and RDN credentialing through CDR; LTC and MDS experience are preferred but training is available. MatrixCare is used for EMR with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the CDR.
• Active Mississippi licensure required.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.
• LTC and MDS experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and document findings.
• Document using the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care plan team.
• Make calculations and recommendations for tube feedings and wounds.
• Complete MDS including Section K and Section V (CAA's).
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
