Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in Somonauk, IL is seeking a Substitute School Food Service Worker for our Somonauk School Nutrition program. This flexible, on-call role runs Monday through Friday with no nights, weekends, or holidays, and offers summer time off.

You’ll prep, portion and serve meals, set up serving areas, follow food safety rules, and help maintain a positive mealtime atmosphere. Training is provided; dependability and a positive attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow safety rules.
• Willingness to learn and follow recipes and schedules.
• Ability to work well with school staff and students.
