Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group in Killingly, CT is seeking a Substitute School Food Service Worker to support our nutrition program. This on-call, Monday–Friday role runs 7am–2pm with no nights or weekends.

You’ll prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff, set up serving stations, and follow food safety procedures. No experience is required—we train you and you can grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Certifications: Speak and read English.
• Some experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
