Bright Horizons seeks a Substitute Teacher to join an inspiring team dedicated to nurturing young learners in Mill Valley, CA. This on-call role offers flexibility and opportunities to work across centers and age groups, delivering curriculum, supervision, and care.

Responsibilities include activities, parent communication, and maintaining a safe classroom. Required: background checks, high school diploma or GED, and 12 ECE units; transcripts due at hire.

Formación

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 12 ECE units completed: Child Development, Child Family Community and 2 curriculum courses.
• Infant/Toddler position requires Infant/Toddler class among curriculum courses.
• Transcripts will be required at time of hire.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or Bachelor's in early education or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with hands-on activities aligned to children's needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group across centers as needed.
