Job summary

Newton Village, a Cassia community, is hiring on-call Nurses (RN or LPN) to join our team. This flexible opportunity lets you pick up shifts while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to residents in our award-winning facility.

You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team and use your clinical skills to support older adults in a respectful, engaging environment. Must hold a current Iowa RN or LPN license, CPR, and have strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Iowa RN or LPN license in good standing.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team player with reliability and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as ordered and monitors response.
• Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Document care using care plans and charting software.
• Notify Clinical Manager and physicians of significant changes.
• Maintain medications, supplies, and equipment per policy.
