Job summary

Ecumen North Branch is seeking an on-call Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to residents, administer medications, document care, and coordinate with the nursing team. This casual role supports flexible shifts and holiday coverage within a senior living environment.

Qualifications

Must hold a degree from an accredited school of nursing for the LPN program.
Current LPN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care to residents/patients within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Coordinates care and services with other departments/providers from admission to discharge.
Assists Registered Nurse with assessments, documentation, and data collection.
Administers medications and completes treatments as ordered; monitors residents and reports changes.
Maintains safety for residents and staff; follows infection control policies.
Keeps a clean, sanitary, safe and organized work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
