Job summary

CountryHouse Grand Island, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking an On-Call Medication Aide / Med Tech to support residents with compassionate, dependable care. This flexible role offers two shifts per month minimum and the opportunity to work weekends and holidays as needed.

You will administer medications per orders and care plans, document accurately, monitor residents for changes, and support daily living while safeguarding dignity. Join our EPIC team and make a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Meet Nebraska certification, training, and registry requirements for Medication Aides.
• Clear and professional communication with residents and team members.
• Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Experience using electronic medication tracking systems.
• Genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Be available to pick up shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
• Work at least two shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Monitor residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
• Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Create a positive environment with compassion, patience, and teamwork.
