Geeks On Site is hiring experienced On-Call IT Field Technicians to support residential and small business customers nationwide. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows and macOS, networking, printers, POS, and occasional outdoor TV mounting, delivered both remotely and on-site.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling; you set availability and drive radius, and we assign jobs that match your location and skills.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service
• Strong networking and diagnostic skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Own required tools including a laptop, drill, screwdrivers, cable tester, and RJ45 tools

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems
• Install and configure printers and scanners
• Replace or upgrade hardware components
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable tools
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers
• Install and support POS systems and run Cat5e or Cat6 cabling
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup
