Geeks on Site is seeking experienced On-Call IT Field Technicians to support residential and small business clients across multiple U.S. cities.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling and no guaranteed hours; you set availability and we dispatch jobs that fit your proximity and skills. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows/macOS, WiFi and printer configuration, basic AV tasks like outdoor TV mounting, and installing POS systems when needed.

Competenze

• 2+ years IT support or field service experience.
• Strong networking and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently with professional customer service.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Own tools: laptop, drill, screwdrivers, cable tester, RJ45 tools.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues.
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems.
• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Replace or upgrade hardware components.
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable tools.
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers.
• Install and support POS systems and run CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup.
