Bright Horizons is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher in the Burbank, CA area to support classrooms across centers and age groups. You’ll assist with activities, communicate with families, and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

The role offers flexibility, potential to work in different centers, and requires a background check, HS diploma or GED, and relevant coursework or experience in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons policies.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
• Twelve semester units in Child Development, including Growth & Development, Curriculum, and Principles and Practices (Required).
• Transcripts will be required at time of interview.

Responsabilités

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs of children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or nearby locations.
