Job summary

Subsea7 in Houston, TX is seeking a Customized Solutions Project Specialist to support engineering and project teams with high-quality concepts, drawings, schematics, and procedures in accordance with Subsea7 standards. You will develop technical expertise while collaborating with experienced teams on offshore energy projects.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent.
• 2-3 years drafting experience in Marine/Oil & Gas or related industries.
• Experience producing layouts, installation, transportation and fabrication drawings.
• Working knowledge of drafting industry codes, standards and design guidelines.
• Proficiency in 2D CAD; exposure to 3D modeling.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings per engineering and company standards.
• Understanding of drawing control processes, revision management and document management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly organized.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Prioritize workload to meet schedules and budgets; committed to quality and professional development.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Produce sketches, drawings, documents, and procedures consistent with good engineering practices and company drafting procedures.
• Provide high-quality documentation, drafting, and design support for project deliverables under supervision.
• Utilize 2D CAD tools and support 3D design activities where appropriate.
• Interface with Project Teams to ensure project schedules and deliverables are achieved.
• Interface with Project Teams to support timely CAD concepts, designs, drawings, documents, and procedures in line with S7 practices.
• Support procurement, assembly, testing, movement, and delivery of project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with the Business Management System (BMS), quality and HSE procedures.
• Comply with company standards, engineering processes, and regulations.
• Maintain drawing control activities including production, revision management, filing.
• Liaise with Project Teams and stakeholders regarding project, equipment, design and documentation needs.
• Collaborate with designers to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Support engineering compliance initiatives for safe, reliable engineering solutions.
• Capture lessons learned to improve systems and processes.
• Participate in training to support growth and technical competency.
• Promote a positive HSEQ culture across activities.
