Job summary

VEKA in Fombell, PA is seeking a Plastic Recycling Operator to transform PVC material into recycled material for VEKA's Outdoor Living Products. This hands-on, process-driven role supports waste reduction and sustainable manufacturing.

The position offers a night shift from 7pm to 7am and hourly, non-exempt pay. You will contribute to ongoing recycling initiatives and work in a stable production environment.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment safely and efficiently to process PVC lineals to PVC regrind.
• Inspect and prepare quality of incoming material regarding color and to ensure it is free from weatherstrip and other contaminants.
• Inspect outgoing regrind for quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Support VEKA's ongoing commitment to recycling and sustainable manufacturing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
