Jovie is seeking caring childcare providers to support families across West New York and neighboring Hudson County communities. Join a team dedicated to fun, safety, and reliable childcare that fits your life.

As a caregiver, you’ll engage kids in age-appropriate activities, prepare simple meals, ensure safety, and collaborate with families for a positive caregiving experience. Flexible shifts and supportive management are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children of multiple ages, from infants to pre-teens.
• Ability to plan age-appropriate activities and games.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and screening.

Responsibilities

• Engage with children through age-appropriate play and activities.
• Provide safe, nurturing oversight and supervision.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for children.
• Perform light cleanup and organize play areas after activities.
• Interact with parents to share progress and needs.

What This Job Looks Like:

• Engage - Care for children between ages six weeks and 13 years (based on your experience)
• Play - Have fun with age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities while you're with the kids
• Safety - Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care
• Meal Prep - Put together meals and snacks for children during your time with them
• Light Clean-up - Restore the kitchen and play areas after food and fun (with age-appropriate assistance from the kids)
• Variety - Work with and meet many different parents and kids as a sitter
