Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services in a long-term care facility. You will assess residents, develop individualized care plans, provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.

This role requires RD credentials, state licensure in good standing, and the ability to ensure CMS/state compliance while covering multiple buildings as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with an active credential (RD) per the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State license in good standing required where practice occurs.
• Knowledge of state survey processes and compliance with nutrition care regulations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication with staff and administration.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance may be required by state/local/customers.
• If multi-site, valid driver’s license.
• RD-eligible and provisional licensure accepted in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document care plans in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings and weight trends.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve overall health and well-being.
• Ensure CMS, state, and federal regulation compliance and company standards.
• Provide coverage across buildings as needed.
