Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking friendly, dependable substitute teachers to support mixed-age classrooms (ages 0–6). This on-call role offers flexible hours and orientation-provided training. You’ll step into classrooms as needed, help with routines, and collaborate with staff to ensure a calm, nurturing learning environment.

No formal Montessori training is required; training is provided during onboarding. Opportunities to move into full-time assistant roles are common for motivated substitutes.

Qualifications

• Meet state education and experience requirements for children 0-6.
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
