Lap of Love is recruiting a Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian for Chicago North Shore, IL, serving Arlington Heights, Glenview, Highland Park, Northbrook, McHenry, Palatine and nearby areas. As a mobile hospice veterinarian, you’ll provide compassionate care in clients’ homes, balancing professional fulfillment with personal freedom.

The role emphasizes mentorship, ongoing training, and a supportive team while you practice independently to meet families’ needs and honor your time.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS from an accredited program.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Practice medicine as a mobile veterinarian, delivering high-quality care in clients' homes.
• Offer support and guidance to families during meaningful moments of pet care.
