Job summary

Headwaters School is seeking caring individuals to join our Middle and High School as Substitute Teachers. Ideal candidates will have teaching or childcare experience, flexible schedules, and a willingness to work with limited notice.

In both our Middle and High School, substitutes support daily lessons, manage the classroom, and promote student learning when regular teachers are away. A Bachelor's degree is required; IB or Montessori experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, required
• International Baccalaureate or Montessori experience, preferred
• Experience working with children/students, required
• Professional appearance

Responsibilities

• Substitute Teachers are responsible for providing and implementing the daily lesson plans according to the School's requirements. In addition, they are charged with managing the classroom environment, providing activities, materials, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
