Job summary

American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace. As a Merchandiser, you will service stores on your assigned route, display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush and more, on a flexible, part-time schedule in Morris, Illinois.

No experience is required; training is provided. You will use a company tablet, lift up to 40 pounds, and coordinate with store staff to keep displays fresh, with shifts around major holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive training updates.
• Technological competency to use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs - weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations, and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management any questions or scheduling concerns.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with effective time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime retail hours.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Provide assistance with store resets, fixture work, or product assembly as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently or with a team.
