Job summary

Amethyst Consulting & Treatment Solutions in Greensboro, NC seeks a Qualified Mental Health Therapist to provide therapy, link families to resources, and bridge gaps in care within the community. The role offers flexibility, varied settings, and meaningful impact daily.

You will support clients from waitlists, coordinate with supervisors, and collaborate with community partners to strengthen connections and ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
• At least 1 year of post-graduate counseling experience
• Bilingual Spanish fluency is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy and support to clients on the waitlist; in their homes, in the community, or via telehealth
• Provide crisis intervention and clinical coverage when situations require it
• Connect clients and families with vital community resources and services
• Collaborate with the Program Manager and clinical supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality care
• Strengthen relationships with referral sources, community partners, and other stakeholders
• Lead or contribute to outreach, education, and marketing efforts that promote Amethyst’s programs
