Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative / Medical Driver in Minnesota for full-time work with flexible afternoon/evening hours. The role offers a company vehicle and a $20 per hour wage. Expect shifts between 1 pm and 1 am with varying start/end times.

You will safely drive to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials, using a handheld scanner and following all procedures. The position emphasizes teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Must have an excellent driving history.
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials in a company vehicle.
• Operate a handheld scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload company vehicles and maintain proper equipment.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep a clean, neat vehicle.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Route duties vary by client and may change across routes; support all routes as needed.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
