Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in Eden Prairie, MN for a full-time evening shift 1:30pm–11:00pm. You will operate in a company vehicle to transport medical items, use a handheld scanner, and maintain safety and professional standards. Training is provided and a company vehicle is included.

Applicants must be 19+, have 3+ years of licensed driving, pass drug/alcohol screening, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Routes may vary and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a company-owned vehicle transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Route duties vary and may change across routes.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
