Rehab at Scottsdale Village Square in Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks a compassionate Medication Technician (Med Tech) to ensure safe medication administration and accurate record-keeping for residents. You will work as part of a dedicated healthcare team, providing care including vital sign checks and daily living activities as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a medication technician training program or relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a medication technician training program or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and record accurately in the medical record
• Monitor and report any adverse reactions or changes in resident condition
• Assist with vital sign checks, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate
• Provide personalized care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
