CFA Institute is seeking a skilled Marketing Cloud Developer to design, implement, and optimize marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with marketing, CRM, product, and analytics teams to deliver data-driven campaigns.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on Marketing Cloud experience, familiarity with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL, and AMPScript, plus a strong grasp of data modeling and segmentation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Marketing Cloud experience.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification(s) preferred (e.g., Email Specialist, Developer).
• Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and email marketing compliance principles.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects.
• Strong analytical mindset for interpreting campaign metrics and user behavior.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email and cross-client rendering.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deploy campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Flow Builder, Automation Studio).
• Write and optimize SQL queries for audience segmentation and data extensions.
• Utilize AMPScript and Handlebars to personalize emails and dynamic content blocks.
• Build and schedule automations to support campaigns and data operations.
• Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot data quality and deliverability issues.
• Collaborate with marketing, CRM, product management, and analytics to translate requirements into solutions.
• Ensure optimal Marketing Cloud configuration with Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and preference centers.
• Manage data integrations between Marketing Cloud and external systems (CRM, APIs, SFTP).
• Conduct QA testing on campaigns, data logic, and dynamic content prior to launch.
• Maintain data streams, DMOs, and identity resolution rules for unified customer profiles.
