Job summary

Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse for the Gig Nursing Program. You may pick up day or night shifts with no guaranteed hours, and participation requires scheduling a minimum number of hours with short notice flexibility.

Base rate is $30/hour with additional incentives. This role supports Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health units and involves delivering patient-centered care across communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; licensure in good standing.
• Current compact LPN license.
• One year of recent bedside LPN experience.
• BLS certification; IV certification; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Assist with routine nursing care and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Adjust to flexible shifts and assign tasks as needed.
