Job summary

BMAT is seeking a technically hands-on engineer to support and evolve the Recordings system. You will help manage a network of servers and contribute to capturing audio/video signals across platforms, while collaborating with a young, enthusiastic team in Barcelona.

The role emphasizes Linux proficiency, scripting, problem-solving, and proactive automation as the team scales the monitoring platform.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a network of 200+ servers in 50+ countries around the world.
• Help configure servers to capture Audio / Video signals.
• Assist with installing and maintaining servers in data centers.
• Work with encoding/transcoding of Audio and Video signals.
• Communicate with hostings, providers, customers, and other teams.
• Help troubleshoot and find solutions to recording and infrastructure issues.
• Support the team in automating repetitive tasks and improving processes.
