Job summary

Visiting Angels seeks a Patient Care Aide (PCA) to support seniors across Central Texas, including Hearne, Bryan and College Station. This role offers flexibility, room for growth, and meaningful, compassionate care in home or facility settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, mobility support, meal planning, medication reminders and shopping. Requires a high school diploma and pass of background checks; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management skills and reliability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response preferred.
• A heart for vulnerable people and meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Encourage and support clients' exercise and mobility goals.
• Prompt clients for medication reminders and safety checks.
• Assist with shopping and meal preparation in collaboration with clients.
• Support clients with safe mobility and transportation to appointments.
