Visiting Angels Bryan, TX is hiring an In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients across Central Texas. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients’ homes according to tailored care plans.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay, and both full-time and part-time options, plus opportunities for dementia/Alzheimer’s care training. Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid training and emergency response capability required (provided if needed).
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes on schedule.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while following dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Show compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light physical activity or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications as directed.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errsands
