Job summary

Varco Hospice is seeking a skilled RN for in-home, PRN patient care across Texas. You’ll deliver one-on-one nursing in patients’ homes, building care plans and ensuring safety with flexible, self-managed scheduling.

The role emphasizes meaningful patient care, autonomy, and work-life balance, ideal for RNs seeking supplemental income or flexible hours. Prior home health or acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• Home health or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation & license must be valid.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home patient assessments.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care (wound care, meds, catheter care, chronic disease management).
• Educate patients and caregivers on home care and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
