Job summary

BrightStar Care of Tyler & Longview is hiring compassionate caregivers/CNAs for in‑home care in Tyler, TX. The role offers competitive pay, flexible shifts, and a supportive environment designed to help clients maintain independence at home.

We provide in‑home care for seniors and others, with opportunities for growth and recognition. Roles require HS diploma or GED, CPR certification, a valid license, and 1–2 years of experience, plus HIPAA awareness and a clean background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required (in-person).
• Negative TB test within last 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with companion care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
• Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments, pharmacy visits, and grocery stores.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, transfers, ambulation) and document changes for the Director of Nursing.

Skills

Strong communication in English

1-2 years caregiver or CNA experience

Education

High school diploma or GED
