Job summary

Anova Health Care Services, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is hiring Direct Care Workers to support clients in their own homes across Allegheny County. You’ll follow a care plan, assist with meals, mobility, personal care, and companionship in a flexible, in-home setting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Mature, responsible judgment and respect for consumer privacy.
• Willingness to complete our employment process and follow the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals that fit dietary needs.
• Light housekeeping to keep the home safe and comfortable.
• Personal care with dignity: bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, hair care, and toileting.
• Help with walking and movement when needed.
• Provide companionship through activities and appointments.
• Run errands and grocery shopping as needed.
