Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care prepared by the supervising RN and encourage independence while preserving client dignity.
• Assist clients with non-skilled personal care, including bathing, skin/hair/nail care, dressing, feeding, ambulation, transfers, medication reminders, and respiratory care.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks: light cleaning, meal preparation, dishwashing, laundry, errands and appointments.
• Follow emergency procedures and report incidents or changes in client condition promptly to the RN.
