Job summary

Professional Case Management is hiring Personal Care Attendants to provide in-home healthcare in Colorado. You can choose part-time or PRN shifts and build your own schedule while forming one-on-one relationships with patients in their homes. Ideal candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a preference for those with a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Respect cultural and spiritual differences; promote safety and client dignity.
Maintain compliance with agency policy and procedures.
Have emotional and cognitive maturity for client relationships with families and staff.
Be free from health problems that may affect clients and indicate such to HR.
Must have a 2-step TB skin test and provide proof to Human Resources.
Possess reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with non-skilled personal care (bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, mouth care, dressing, feeding, ambulation, exercise, transfers, positioning, medication reminders, respiratory care, homemaking, respite care).
Perform routine housekeeping tasks (light housekeeping, meals, dishes, bed making, laundry, appointments, shopping).
Follow emergency procedures and report incidents to the supervising RN as soon as possible.
