Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking friendly, outgoing team members for a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. As a Potbelly Associate, you will deliver fast, friendly service and a high-quality product in a clean, inviting shop.

Pay starts at $15.25–$15.75 per hour plus digital tips. Eligible associates get medical, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-first mindset for fast-paced service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be at least 16 years old and able to work across multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, cash, prep, front) as directed by lead.
• Provide fast, friendly and efficient service to customers.
• Restock and maintain cleanliness of the dining area and prep spaces.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions following procedures.
• Assist with delivery/catering/pickup orders as needed.
• Address customer concerns and ensure a quality product.
