Job summary

The role includes initial assessments, ASAM documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and court-related reporting as needed. Requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and CADC/IADC/IAADC certification, with 3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Current CADC/IADC/IAADC certification or eligibility preferred/required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in substance abuse or behavioral health counseling preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a client caseload with detailed intake procedures, ASAM evaluation, and treatment planning.
• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and family therapy.
• Document all client encounters timely in the EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Advocate for clients coordinating services, especially in crisis or emergency situations.
• Collaborate with CHCSEIA staff to address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and mental health needs.
• Attend required departmental meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
