Responsibilities include delivering targeted interventions, maintaining materials, and coordinating with teachers, parents, and aides to support student success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Experience or ability to work with students with IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers educational instruction and interventions designed by teachers.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
• Organizes materials and uses time effectively.
• Remains calm while working with students in crisis.
• Applies de-escalation strategies with students in crisis.
• Attend to health and physical needs of students as required.
• May teach in teacher's absence or during emergencies.
• Escort students to/from lunch, activities, field trips, and dismissal.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and move equipment as needed.
• Navigate the school facility safely.
• Operate standard office equipment and instructional technology.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and staff.
• Make informed decisions in absence of supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
