Job summary

Step Ahead ABA in Honolulu, HI is seeking an in-home RBT to support autism therapy for children and teens. You will provide direct 97153 therapy under a BCBA, with a schedule Tue/Thu afternoons and a BCBA assigned to guide your caseload.

We offer $30/hour for direct therapy, $16/hour for paid non-billable time, bonuses for cancelled sessions, floating holidays by level, and a Capella University tuition partnership. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification with the BACB; support to obtain certification if not yet certified.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; ABA experience preferred.
• Prior ABA experience expected; availability Tue/Thu afternoons.
• Comfort working in a family’s home; reliable transportation required.
• Stay active and engaged during sessions; strong communication with BCBA.

Responsibilities

• You deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• BCBA will be assigned before you start; you receive plan, introduction, and family support.
• Supervision is supportive with competency assessments, observation, and actionable feedback.
• You collect session data and submit notes; non-billable time is paid.
• You will be supported by BCBAs and clinical directors throughout placement.
