Job summary

Ancora Home Health & Hospice in Wasilla, AK is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Therapy Team in a full-time, on-site role with a $53/hour compensation and a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours.

You will perform client evaluations, develop and update care plans, supervise support staff, document progress, and educate patients and families on exercises to improve function, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Alaska Physical Therapy License
• Minimum 2+ years of PT experience preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills required
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation needed
• Fingerprint clearance and TB test may be required and assisted by employer
• CPR certification also required and can be facilitated by us

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patient function, strength, and endurance
• Routinely assess and update care plans to ensure best patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques
• Supervise and delegate tasks to PT Assistants and Technicians
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with the care team
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of observations and progress
