Job summary

St Cecilia School and Academy, under the Archdiocese of St. Louis, seeks a Middle School Math/Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 year.

The role requires delivering instruction aligned with Catholic curriculum standards while supporting faith-based education. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Education or related field, Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility), and prior middle school experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, or related field.
• Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain).
• Middle school teaching experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Catholic education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math and Science to middle school students.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned to curriculum standards.
• Cover math and science content appropriate to middle school grade levels.
• Assess student learning and maintain required academic records.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain a positive, structured, and faith-centered learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities.
