Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have excellent telephone skills with the ability to deal with potentially irate customers, vendors, and representatives in a professional manner
• Must have excellent written and oral skills
• Should be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong sense of urgency and motivation, self-starter

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with internal and external customers, field representatives, and vendors
• Shop, determine best carrier option, and create shipping documents
• Interact with departments to obtain dimensions, weight, and ready to ship projections
• Read and understand tape measures and weight calculations related to cube, density, and space used
• Schedule and process shipments
• Reconcile and maintain carrier invoices for payables
• Liaison to the shipping dock and hardware departments
• Provide quotes and maintain quote log
• Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor
